I Used to be a Fridge

Our road to better and more sustainable practices continues and we are over the moon to be offering our customers a Gym+Coffee carry bag made from 100% recycled materials.

Award-winning Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Our new ‘I Used to be a Fridge’ bags are part of a solution to a global problem and we are the first and only company in Ireland to offer these now award-winning bags! Each bag is made using a recycled polypropylene (RPP) fabric, and in our case, each bag was originally a fridge! Manufactured by Waste2Wear, the bags were recently awarded the ‘Outstanding Environmental and Climate Performance’ Sustainable Business Award by the European Union Chamber of Commerce.

Introducing this solution to our customers is one more step along our sustainability journey, joining our One Tree Planted partnership, commitment to socially responsible practices and continuing to encourage people to live a healthy, responsible + respectful lifestyle.

Continuing on our path to Sustainability

As part of our journey, in 2019, we reached out to Waste2Wear, a textile company specialising in producing fabrics and products made from recycled materials. We are always on the lookout for ways to improve our practices and Waste2Wear lives the G+C values, honing in on collaboration, community and innovation in everything they do.

We can’t wait to see what else we can collaborate on in the future and look forward to seeing more and more businesses bring this fantastic product into their daily offerings!
